i have a 21 vista 35 and its awesome. no doubt the 22 version is better with the new roller guard & limb lok pocket. either way they are both quality bows and fit and finish is second to none. draw is smooth with no hump in draw cycle. do yourself a favor and buy one you wont be disappointed. i have no affiliation with athens im just giving honest review
The Vista 35 is a great do everything bow. I hunt, shoot 3D and indoors with mine. Fit and finish are fantastic. The kolorfushion finish is very durable and looks great. The new rotating draw stops really allow you to fine tune your holding weight and draw length. The new larger stops are very very solid feeling. The original RT-x stops felt solid to me. But the new stops are noticeably firmer. An all around great bow.
Order a 23 vista 35 without ever shooting or even holding one. Seen so many great reviews about Athens and gave it a chance. I order the 35 for 3d and hunt and it is the best shooting bow I have probably ever shot. I have shot most of the big name bows and the vista 35 is so much better. The draw cycle is ridiculously smooth. The pulling weight feels multiple pounds lighter than what you actually are pulling. No hump at the end of the draw. The back wall is solid. The rotating mods and adjustable stops allow you to fine tune to your preferences. Tuning was fairly easy. The riser grip is my favorite, comfortable and repeatable. Just all around a great bow. I would highly recommend to anyone.
On top of just a great bow, Athens customer service is beyond awesome. You’re not just getting a voice recording, but someone willing to talk to you and help you out. All around great company.
I have a 22 Vista 35, and I have to say that it is the smoothest drawing bow I have ever shot. It feels like you are drawing back a much lighter draw weight than it is set at. The draw cycle is very linear. No stack at the beginning and no hump at the end. My bow is currently set at 70lbs and feels like 60lbs or less. The back wall is nice and solid and the bow holds very nicely on target at full draw. The shot cycle is very nice as well. You will feel slight hand shock, but it dissappears quickly and is reduce with a good set of stabilzers. The bow doesn’t jump forward or fall to one side or the other. It is smooth throughout the whole shot cycle. I find it to be very accurate as well. Stacking arrows on top of each other, out to 60 yards so far. The finish on these bows are top notch and very durable. The only thing I didn’t like, is when put in bow press some of the limb decaling is coming off. In the end that is cosmetic and doesn’t have any affect on the bow. To rap things up, this bow is extremely high quality and a joy to shoot. I would put it up against any of the big bow manufacturers anyday. I would also recommend this bow to anyone that is looking for a new bow or is just starting out. Thank you Athens for making a great bow for all of us to enjoy.
