The Autumn Blaze looks amazing in person. The fit and finish are great. the bow balances right out of the box with nothing on it. The draw is nice and smooth through the draw cycle. the bow is very quiet and dead in the hand, it just sits there after the shot. Lifetime warranty, great customer service and a high quality product, it doesn’t get any better than that.
I’ve owned the Vista 33 for a few months now. I made the purchase without ever seeing or shooting one. It was high risk but the outcome was worth it. I went from a VXR 31.5 to the Vista 33 and it has exceeded my expectations. The Vista 33 is the most balanced and vibration free bow I’ve owned in 42 years of shooting compound bows. I’ve owned some of the best flagship bows from every top manufacture and Athens has engineered and produced the best bow to date I’ve owned.
Easily the sweetest draw out there! I normally shoot 60 pound limbs on all my bow but needed a little more pop this year. I’m so glad I went with 70 pound limbs, this thing draws easier than most 60 pound bows I’ve shot. Its also incredibly quiet, crazy quiet!!! The adjustable let off is really nice and easy to adjust, just like the draw length Mod. With as nice as this thing shoots and the best Warranty in the biz as well as the nicest and most helpful folks around, Its a no brainer. My wife and I are both happy to shoot Athens bows and plan to do so from now on.
The draw cycle on the Vistas is second to none. 60lb draw feels like 55. Buttery smooth all the way through, no dump, stellar back wall. I like them so much, I own 2!!
I can’t say enough good things about the Vista 33. The bow has such a smooth draw and holds great on target. It’s light enough so that when I added stabilizers to it, the bow didn’t feel overly heavy. The string angle at my 29.25 draw length is absolutely perfect. And of course, the grip is quite possibly the best stock grip on any production bow currently being made by any manufacturer. The shot experience is great and quite dead in the hand. Most of all, I found this bow to be exceptionally forgiving of less-than-perfect shots and easy to tune. I would buy one again without question. If you haven’t shot an Athens yet, I highly recommend doing so. The Vista 33 is a great all-around bow, and you can’t beat the warranty!
