Strings: All Athens Archery bows come equipped with GAS Premium High Octane Strings. All GAS bowstrings and cables are pre-stretched with the GAS proprietary Total Tensioning System (TTS) to ensure zero string creep, peep rotation and serving separation. This process is unlike many bowstring manufacturers, who simply stretch their strings and cables at a set weight. By tensioning their strings throughout the entire building process, GAS create superior stability and zero movement in the final product.  GAS High Octane Strings developed for Athens Archery will come standard with BCY 452X string material.

Just a well balanced, solid bow. Obtaining holding weights with the MT cams and mods are very achievable for your desired feel. I wouldn’t shy away from hunting with one either. Its lighter than it looks and the IBO speed is impressive for a longer ATA bow geared towards target shooters. The color combos available make it look good for any scenario you want, and the price range for a HIGH END machined bow is something that makes me proud to shoot one.

The Peak 38 feels great in your hand. It balances well, smooth consistent draw with easy transition to the solid back wall. After the shot the bow just sits there. My scores have improved once I started shooting the Peak. The specs are ones that would make this a good hunting bow as well for us that like longer ATA bows. Fit and finish are great, Gas premium strings and a lifetime warranty. I am very happy with the Peak 38.

I have never shot over a 285-290 at best. UNTIL I put a Peak 38 in my hand. This bow is beyond amazing. the hold into the back wall is
pure amazing and it just glides into it from the valley right before. It just sits in the hand at full draw and feels as steady and solid as a rock. the after shot is just as impressive with no shock at all. and now, shooting 300s have become so common for me that i feel like I have an unfair advantage at shoots. I just ordered my second one for outdoor field shoots. I wont put another bow in my hands.
